Available in Truffle, a deep earthy tone, and Shell, a soft neutral, this rug fits effortlessly into any space, complementing both modern and traditional interiors.

    100% Indian and NZ wool mix.
    Handwoven in 100% wool by skilled artisans in Northern India, the basket collection derives its name from its twill yarn woven in a simple basket weave.

    Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, slight variations in size may occur. The dimensions listed are approximate, and your rug may measure;1–2 inches larger or smaller; in either direction. These subtle differences are a hallmark of true hand-made rugs, adding to the unique charm and authenticity of each piece.

    If the rug has fringes, they do not count towards the total listed length of the rug.

    Flatweaves are dense, durable, and resistant… even the light-weight ones. That means you’ll be happy together for quite some time, so long as you take care of each other. We can help you do that, with a few simple tips:
    01. Professional dry cleaning is your best bet
    02. Feel confident about blotching spills with a damp cloth
    03. Take a vacuum to it regularly
    04 If you see a loose yarn, resist the urge to pull! Simply snip off the excess with sharp scissors
    05. Rug pads rule, we recommend using one

About the Designer
Mark Krebs was founded in 2019 by Montreal based designer Davin Cowper with the goal of partnering with weavers in Northern India to produce a collection of contemporary hand made wool rugs based in traditional techniques.
