The MESURE 0.1 collection lies at the intersection of functionality and sculptural expression. Inspired by modern architectural forms, it questions the boundary between utility and art. The pieces, designed to be stackable and versatile, invite experimentation with shapes and colors and are above all playful. Each element, entirely handcrafted, reflects a contemporary artisanal approach at the intersection of fine arts and industrial design. A special mention is given to the fact that no piece is left behind: each one is valued, given a second life while adhering to rigorous quality standards.

About the designers:

Nicolas Forlini, a graduate of Espace Verre (2019), worked as a technician and assistant to glass artists before joining the Babajaga workshop. A teacher of glassblowing, he received FUSION scholarships (2019, 2021).

Words from the designers:
We see our works and objects as a silent revolution against overwhelming industries. Working with glass means embracing a temporality that contrasts with the pace imposed by mass production. Our pieces combine millimetric precision with spontaneous gestures; they remain a dialogue between hand and material, between constraint and freedom.

Our approach is one of respect for materials and processes. We reintegrate waste, not as a gesture of recycling, but as a questioning of the hierarchies between what is considered noble and what is perceived as obsolete. The tool, the mold, the material, and the trace are all elements that shape our objects and give them a unique presence.

We advocate production on a human scale, where each piece is designed to be lived with, handled, and passed on. Between tableware and sculpture, between series and unique pieces, we explore the intersections between craftsmanship and design, between structure and spontaneity.

Our commitment is also collective. We evolve within a network of creators where transmission and collaboration enrich our practices. Exhibiting, sharing, and teaching are natural extensions of our approach.

Our objects do not impose, they question. They transform our perception of material and time, seeking to redefine the way we produce and inhabit space.
