In their twenty-third issue, Illustoria takes readers on a mind-bending journey through time and space. They explore ancient worms found in an iceberg and brought back to life, and even ask a poet-engineer whether time travel could be possible.

In the comics section, Dora the Cat tries out for a job as an archaeologist, while Dog Chef serves up a fruit salad snack any dodo bird would crave. They also feature an interview with Diego Romero, who discusses his contemporary ceramics practice rooted in Indigenous traditions.

Young writers and artists contribute imaginative drawings of robots and tales of futuristic interstellar pen pals. As always, the issue includes music, art supplies, and book recommendations.

Illustoria is a beautifully crafted print magazine for creative kids and their grownups. They celebrate visual storytelling, makers, and DIY culture through stories, art, comics, interviews, crafts, and activities. Published three times a year, Illustoria is designed for readers ages 6–12 and the young at heart. It is the official publication of the International Alliance of Youth Writing Centers, featuring writing and art by young people alongside accomplished professionals.
