About the artist
Raymond Biesinger is a Montréal-based illustrator, artist, and best-selling author, and he has contributed to more than 1,000 assignments across five continents since 2002. His work is very much a collage that doesn’t look like a collage—pieces built from real-world lines, shapes, and textures scanned into a computer and used as an infinitely forgiving Xerox machine, glue, and scissors. In the process, these components lose their recognizability, but through repetition they bring flaws, eccentricities, and geometries together to form a distinctive visual vocabulary.
