Venture Cross-body bag – Chestnut

Venture Cross-body Bag features rustic hand-interwoven construction with luxurious full-grain hand-dyed Italian Vachetta leather. Its compact and versatile style reflects a warm, modern touch that is made to last and age gracefully on your shoulder.  The leather will age beautifully with time and use! Antique-finished solid brass hardware highlights all the small fine details on the bag.  

This design is created with a desire to move away from trends and create practical, unique and timeless pieces.

Care instructions:
Uppdoo uses full grain and natural veg-tanned leathers of the highest quality possible. They source only eco and small batched tanneries in Italy, Spain and Texas. Wherever possible they use leathers that are tanned using low-impact processes with a minimum of chemical processing. Skins are hand-chosen for quality and hand-cut to maintain their individual character. Variations in texture, pattern, spots, form and colour are normal and define the unique natural beauty of each piece.

Uppdoo is an original hand-crafted bag and accessory design brand based in Toronto, Canada. At the end of 2012, founder/designer Ricky Shi decided to take his passion to the drawing board; interweaving his ability to craft with his sense of style, to create unique handbags and small fashion accessories in small batches by hand. The name “Uppdoo” is personally resonant for Ricky, as it contains two important principles in life - Direction and Action.

All designs are produced by hand in the Uppdoo studio in Toronto. They handcraft, assemble and package their original designs in-house to ensure that each and every single piece is made with love and care. They set the bar up high with their quality control, so every piece that goes out is of the highest possible quality and condition.
