About Sel Saint-Laurent

The first sea salt made in Québec

Sel Saint-Laurent was born from the vision of Manuel Bujold Richard, an innovative entrepreneur and artist driven by a passion for craftsmanship, sustainability, and exceptional flavour. Noticing that no edible sea salt was produced in Québec, he set out to create one pure, local, and deeply rooted in the region.

Harvested from the mesopelagic depths of the St. Lawrence River estuary, where Arctic waters remain crystal clear and protected from surface pollutants, Sel Saint-Laurent offers a delicate sea salt of unparalleled purity. Free from microplastics and contaminants found in many conventional salts, it reflects the remarkable quality of Québec’s natural waters.

The crunchy texture of its flakes is one of its greatest qualities. True diamonds from the depths of the St. Lawrence, these exceptional flakes will, we hope, enhance your dishes and elevate the moments of happiness shared around the table with friends and family.

Made in Québec, Canada
