Imagined in Montréal in 2016, BESIDE was born from the desire to create a globally recognized brand that bridges nature and culture. Over time, the project has grown to offer a unique blend of publishing and nature-based hospitality. BESIDE provides immersive stays in the heart of nature, publishes a biannual print magazine, produces digital content, and organizes events — both in the city and in the forest — inviting people to slow down and live more intentionally. More than just a brand, BESIDE is a community of people from diverse backgrounds — architects, artists, journalists, biologists, photographers, and more — united by a shared desire to reinvent our relationship with the living world.
