About the Author
Stéphane Poirier is a Québec illustrator based in Montréal with a background in architecture. His work is characterized by an inventive and thoughtful approach. From one project to the next, he enjoys exploring new visual languages, placing particular importance on research, concept, and clarity of expression.
He works across a range of fields, from children’s publishing and graphic design to cultural and institutional projects. He has illustrated Les poissons électriques and Quel chantier! Attention, cerveau au travail, published by La Pastèque, as well as La société des grands fonds by Daniel Canty. He has also worked on several projects in collaboration with design studios, including Feed and Baillat.
