Description: These floral works were created by Montréal artist Sarah Kestenberg. The series is inspired by plant specimens observed by the artist, which she carefully pressed and catalogued in her herbarium.

Entirely handmade from paper, these remarkably realistic sculptures are precisely painted to reproduce the natural colours of the plants and flowers. They are presented in hand-thrown terracotta pots, over 100 years old and imported from England.

Technique & Materials: Crepe paper, floral wire and terracotta pot.

Care instructions: This piece is ideal for a shadier spot in your home. As much as possible, keep away from direct light and moisture. To remove any dust, use a fine paint or makeup brush to gently dust.
