PARI PASSU
PARI PASSU Space
470-B Duluth Avenue East – Montréal
Located in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal, PARI PASSU is an evolving space that hosts themed programs and temporary events, fostering encounters, dialogue, and collaboration among craftspeople, while showcasing contemporary craft.
Our mission is to highlight the know-how of contemporary craft by building bridges between disciplines and encouraging interaction and collaboration between artisans.
Directly connected to the PAPEROLE boutique via an interior passage, this space creates both a physical and conceptual link between two complementary worlds, enriching the visitor experience.
Programming
The space features thematic exhibitions, workshops, pop-up markets, and interactive events. It showcases the full richness of the crafts: printmaking, ceramics, textiles, glass, jewelry, woodworking, paper, leather, tableware, and local products.
PARI PASSU is also available for rent by selected artists, artisans or creators wishing to present their work through temporary exhibitions. Have a project? Send us a proposal — our team will review it with care.
A Meaningful Name
Pari Passu means “on equal footing” in Latin. This name reflects the spirit of the space: collaboration, inclusion, cross-disciplinary dialogue, and fair recognition of artistic practices.
