PARI PASSU × Coop Établi
Curator in Residence
May 29 – June 22, 2025

Coop Établi, a local collective of designers and furniture makers, will take over PARI PASSU in residence from May 29 to June 22, 2025, to present an exhibition dedicated to contemporary object design and the art of living. A selection of creators will accompany the exhibition, offering the public a chance to discover unique pieces conceived in Montréal, and to celebrate a community of committed designers.

Coop Établi
Coop Établi just turned 10! Since 2014, this collective of over 20 passionate designers and makers has been creating and marketing solid wood furniture—a precious and local resource. With a catalog of over 50 pieces, all made in the greater Montréal area, the Coop offers furniture for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Coop Établi also serves as a showcase for Québec design: it regularly features new work by emerging designers, promoting local craftsmanship and asserting its place at the heart of the contemporary design scene.

Theme and Selection of Exhibitors

The exhibition highlights the work of local designers who are members of Coop Établi, focusing on rethinking the art of living and innovating daily object use. The selected creators embody local craftsmanship, sustainability, and a contemporary aesthetic.

Presenting the Contributors’ Worlds:
